Thanks I hope you're right. The Cubs seem to play way too many night games.

Is the CPU lineup issue fixed? I haven't have 5 min to read here or post. Any help appreciated that was my main concern.

Haven't started my season, waiting for Josh Bard! And the Manny suspension!

EA gets tons of flak for Madden, and rightfully so. But when SCEA FAILS to deliver on certain modes, just as EA does, they deserve it to.

Seems to me there are a lot of people not liking it when other people bash "lil ole SCEA." Boo hoo.

Also, this is a message board, people act different behind a keyboard as opposed to real life, if you are jsut realizing that now, we got bigger issues.
Whose talking only of this thread? Where have you been, honestly? You're going off and talking about criticism in general. Good for that, but again, you missed it completely. "Lil ole SCEA, boo hoo". You're proving my point.

I've got bigger issues? Yeah, I guess the keyboard thing. I just gotta live with it. Some host you'd make, lol.

Man, thanks for absolutely proving my point.

No, it's not. Have you tried one of the rosters from the roster forum that pretty much stabilizes the problem?

Unfortunately the roster "fixes" don't fix everything. I was about to bring up in one of the roster forums the subject of Alex Rios. Is there any way to edit the Blue Jays order to keep Rios from hitting second -- and sometimes leadoff -- without compromising his abilities?

The roster guys did a tremendous job, but unfortunately when guys get a day off, some of those headaches come back. Right now, I've noticed Rios is still hitting second a lot without any players getting a day off.

If you use CPU roster control ON, just use my workaround I posted. If not, well, ratings adjustments are all you can do this year . We just have to accept the "alternate reality" of the franchise with CPU roster control OFF this year, but at least the edits do help those that have it off.

Will this still work if I plan on using Knight's non-patch V5 rosters, or do I need to have the patch for work-around? Thanks...
If I remember correctly (don't want to mis-remember like Roger Clemens, lol), I tried the workaround while experimenting at some point pre-patch and it didn't work before the patch.
If you play with CPU roster control on, some minor lineup edits for guys like Helton, and use my roster control ON lineup workaround (and with a second controller), it all works out pretty good. I haven't had a problem yet with sim games or games I actually play with all 3 of my franchises. One franchise is stock rosters, one is Knights lineup fix, and one is Ridins with no career stat glitch. All three are working out fine, lineup and rotation wise. But, it definitely has been more work this year. It's not ideal, but at least I can deal with it. The gameplay itself this year is absolutely brilliant overall. Had a 15 inning marathon tonight which is keeping me up late, lol.

FYI: Here's another thing I have noticed. Even with CPU Roster control ON, if you try to put a team on a 4 man rotation (like happens at time especially in the beginning of the year), the CPU "fixes" it back to a 5 man rotation after you exit anyway (it looks correct, but when you sim or play it isn't anymore). So in order to do a 4 man, you have to move your SP1 to the SP5 position and subsequently everyone else which sucks too, but oh well.
