Sony I am sure are all for constructive criticism. There is a right and wrong way to go about it though. Examples of both are in this thread.
Yeah, lots of people post negative stuff, but some people have talked to the devs and Russell in a way they wouldn't want anyone to talk to them. That's a problem and those things get responded to, but to say "anytime" anybody posts something negative they get jumped is a bit of a stretch, lol. A BIG bit of a stretch. There's negatives all over this thread that have been completely agreed with.

As far as some people having the patch and no problem.....that's probably the nature of the patch....who knows. I know I had to restart my franchise after the patch, some don't....go figure.

I think the funny thing is that the game was awesome at first - then the patch ironically did the opposite...created way more problems than it fixed. If things were reversed and how the game is now (post-patch) was actually box version and a patch came out that made it the original (pre-patch) version than all of us would be happy campers. Am I seriously the only one who finds the irony in this situation?

I didn't go back to find my post (like looking for the Loch Ness Monster this thread is so big), but didn't mean for it to sound that way. This is a mess. My point is we probably get what we ask for sometimes. Man, next year people are going to want a new swing stick, different pitching mechanics, collision detection, new player models, on and on.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Fix THIS game, lol.

Yes, next year, please leave the core gameplay in place and fix the problems.

This is a solid playing baseball game that just needs some things fixed (like how errors are recorded, improve lineup logic (one thing that may need added is to add most common batting order to players or something like Knight and I discussed before), fix CPU roster control ON, fix DL problem, fix DH's fatiguing too much, allow players potential to be edited to make things easier for Knight and other roster editors, but only if it doesn't cause more problems, and make sure stats work correctly). I am sure I am forgetting some things that need fixed.

Other than that, I would be happy if they just fix some stadiums (Bail-out Field), unis, and the usual stuff.

I am worried if they try to implement R stick batting and pitching it will mess with the core gameplay. I sometimes play MLB 2K9, and after the novelty of swinging and pitching wears off, it is just as "boring" as the Shows hitting and pitching mechanic. So I hope they don't bother next year.

Yea, everything was working fine for me too, but about 12 games into my Franchise, I finally got the no Replays glitch, and when I went to view things in the vault, all replays only had one player hitting and no one on the field. The ball would get hit and then jiggle around to wherever it was hit.

The only thing different I did last night was I kept pressing X at the end of the game to skip through stuff since I was tired. I normally just listen to the whole thing and let it run on its own.

I decided not to save that franchise game because of it, plus it was my excuse for not saving a game where I got pounded 8-1, lol.

I'm going to play today, and hopefully the replays will be back to normal.

Too bad they didn't program in provisions for rainouts. Maybe we could have gone back and rescheduled that missed game.
The original game had no game for the Dodgers-Padres on April 7 when in reality they did have a game. It, however, had a game scheduled on October 1 between the two teams that is not on the real schedule.

So the "no replays glitch" only occurs AFTER the game is over? Or are we talking about DURING game? I"m confused here.
