I think the problem with this is, you're technically playing the game wrong, and a play like that wouldn't happen in real life. It reminds me of the Youtube videos in Madden of having all 11 guys on defense cover one receiver and STILL being able to complete a pass. Yeah, it's stupid, but the game wasn't intended to be played like that. Both Madden and The Show have plenty of legitimate problems, but expecting the developers to code for every style of unorthodox/unrealistic play is a bit much to ask. This is a sim, remember.

The problem would be from 2nd to 3rd. Does the same thing happen?

Every time I've been in that position, yes. It was in the 08' version as well. The solution to avoid the "cheese" is obviously to hold the runners, but as I mentioned - it's easier from a controller stand point - especially if you have another runner on besides third, is just to give the "steal all" command on the pitch.

I'm playing the game wrong even though I said I have never seen this nor tried it???

This is something that i don't think anyone would expect in the game. And corey was just pointing it out, not necessarily playing the game wrong.

I don't play online, nor do I play against others, but I would imagine that if this holds true to online play, it could present a pretty big problem.

I do agree with you it is not playing right, I would never do it, but it is a simple enough problem that as long as they know about it is probably easy to fix. This is the first I have heard about it.

So you're saying you have men on 1st & 3rd w/2 out...you send both runners and the batter happens to walk. Instead of tagging the runner on 3rd who's "stealing" home he simply throws it back to the pitcher and the run scores?

Does it cut to an animation and you can't actually see the run score?

If there is no runner behind the man on 2nd, yes - I believe so. I don't recall being in this position however.

Yes. Or, it will cut to the high overhead (announcer booth angle) as though it would when there would be a play to the plate, and the catcher just throws the ball back to the pitcher.
