I'm thrilled (and I mean thrilled) that refs are in the game, but they seem to get knocked down a lot.

Now, if a user purposefully runs into a ref, that's one thing, but the refs should have good avoidance A.I. It's amazing how often real refs stay out of the way.

Fumble button?

That's just silly.

So one could conceivably be "winning" on the meter and lose the ball in the time between meter disappearance and referee call? If so, I have no problem with the idea of an unobtrusive meter. I just want to maintain the element of suspense that arises during those few seconds when your team is in a pileup.

I always hate when people say, "He's got intangibles"

That just means, "he's better than people who look similiar to him, but I'm too lazy as an analyst to figure out why."

Pro tak sounds stunning if used right. A night and day difference from 09. This is what I had in mind 4 years ago for next gen NFL.

Refs falling down too much is a little odd and would detract from realism. If it's a simple fix, I hope it is taken care of as it would get pretty lame IMO to keep seeing them tumble.

Not sure about the cut scene/minigame for fumbles. To be honest Ian, Phil etc, I'd personally prefer if there was an option to simulate the piles based on ratings where relevant, like str and awr. The same for kicking actually. Like some NBA games do with free throws, I'd prefer both the piles and kicking could be set to CPU simulate.

loving what i been seeing i love the idea of the fight for the fumble button mashing, thats what happens in a fumble heap its like a punching action but it really sounds like the meter should be removed so you only one who gets the ball when the ref makes the call. plus i really wanna be close to the action and see the fight

No meters. Nothing on the screen except the buttons we have to mash.

So in the corner X comes up. We mash X. Then in another corner Y comes up. We mash Y.

Then we stop and wait for the refs decision/

No meters. Nothing. Just prompt us the button in the corner of the screen.
