Operation Sports NFL Mock Draft: Picks 22 - 32

With the 2009 NFL Draft only days away, I am taking a look at the last 10 picks of the first round. There is still some major talent left on the OS draft board at this point. In other words, the top teams in the league are only going to get richer.

How do guys like Cushing and and Maualuga fall and no-name offensive lineman are drafted?

Teams don't draft based on who is the best player available, they draft based on needs.

Actually they do both. It depends on the Owner, General Manager, and the Head Coach on how they draft but everyone does it different. Some go for need others go for best player.

Tell that to 75% of the teams who drafted yesterday, especially the Lions with the Pettigrew pick.
