Is he super human? Holmes looking for someone to block... finds him and... BOOM turns around on a dime! 4. Running animations still don't look that fluid. Pictures can't really show this but ya... 5. Other random observations CB is not looking at the ball I've always felt as if the break-tackle animations are the defenders letting go instead of the ball carrier breaking through. I am pretty sure this is a double team in man coverage and why are the defenders not looking at Fitz? Is that how he got so much separation? That whole sequence right there reminded me of the coverage from M09 which is not a good thing. Also, the running animations still look bad. Hopefully Ian can read all the feedback from this thread and try to do as much as possible! This video was quite discouraging Personal Madden Hype-O-meter Before 15/10 After 7/10

lol... his post is what I meant by constructive criticism... you know, not the typical "EA sucks... they are money hungry.... blah blah blah" type of stuff.

Anyways nice post icomb1ne. I noticed a few of the things you pointed out but not all of them (since you broke them down real nice and because the trailer was pretty fast).

Great post comb1ne. Agreed on all counts. The trailer didn't show the drastic improvement in ol/dl interaction I was looking for. It didn't show the improved wr/db interaction (route running, man coverage) I was looking for. Pro Tak looks like a really neat technology though, fight for the fumble was cool although the ball looked to be on Parker's back, you'd think they'd try to cover that up on the trailer.


I think if we didn't have all the interaction we've had and they just dropped this on us out of nowhere I might be a little more impressed. The trailer just didn't quite justify the hype so far in my opinion. I'm still excited to see how the game turns out, this just tempers my expectations a little.
