I agree, it is very hard to get a true gauge of how the game plays with what we saw in that teaser. Some things were bad (willie getting stood up and breaking a tackle, doesnt happen and some line stuff, and animations a little jerky) and some were good (tackling, the last wr/db interaction, some lineman interaction). I just want to see actual gameplay like it would be when you are playing. I still however plan to rent before i buy this year just to make sure even if i like the future videos.

I'd be lying if I said that my excitement level did not go down a couple notches after watching that trailer. That being said, I'm still hopeful because it's an early build of the game and there's time for improvement.

I'm also hopeful because of what some of the 8 members that attended the CD have said about the trailer. Mainly that the trailer does not do the game justice. I'll wait for some more vids and info before making a decision. But I gotta say, if I had to buy the game based on that trailer alone, it would be hard to shell out the $60.

A lot of positives, but the animations (which I was really expecting to blow me away) were pretty much the same stiff and robotic kind. Sure there were new ones, but overall the stiffness is STILL present.

I am dead for tonight and have a ton of stuff booked tomorrow so I don't know if I'll be on after the video displays, but I look forward to you all picking apart everything as usual and finding the good and bad. You'll see some stuff that you don't like I'm sure (I know I did), but I really hope you get a bit of a surprise when you see PRO-TAK on full display. Looking forward to the impressions...
