the only way around that would be u uploading it here and people trasnfering to their ps3 via flashdrive....
seems the glitch happens once u get (old based)rosters from the vault.

i could be wrong though...but thats what i gathered from that issue.
if someone wants to check and let me know. I'll try to get them uploaded here before the weekend is out if anyone is interested.

So if you use default rosters you don't have the historical stat glitch?

Yes, Brunnoce, I think you're right about that.

The only one that doesn't have the stat glitch is the newest one or any roster (that was saved stat glitch free) that you upload here using a USB drive and not connect to SC (that didn't have the stat glitch already (Wookies in one example). That is why everyone was saving franchises using Ridins rosters before the newest SCEA roster came out. Once the newest SCEA roster came out (4/20 one) came out Ridin's rosters created the week before turned into a pumpkin and got the stat glitch. If you saved a Franchise when the stats glitch wasn't there, then the career stats are fine.
The Franchises I saved for the 4-14 SCEA roster update are fine since i saved them last week before the 4-20 release.

I hope everyone can follow that whole convoluted tale.
So, basically, once you get any roster created before 4/20 (the day SCEA released its latest official roster) on the Vault by connecting to Sports Connect, it turns into a stat-glitch pumpkin. If you get one saved stat glitch free by using a USB drive, then it will remain stat glitch free.

So, CB, I am pretty sure your rosters will get glitched up once they enter SC. I will try it tonight to confirm, but I am pretty sure about it based on my previous tests. You should put a link to them in the roster thread. As long as no one enters SC before they load your rosters (which you saved stat glitch free), your rosters will be fine. That is what Wookie did, and he doesn't have the glitch.

Not that I pretend to know what's involved with patching a game (especially one as extensive as The Show), but I would think that 2 weeks is virtually nothing. I would imagine that just creating the patch is a lengthy process in and of itself. Then it must be extensively tested to make sure the fixes actually work and that it doesn't inadvertently create any new problems. We must also consider that if they do find a problem during the testing process, then it's back to the drawing board to try and fix it. I wouldn't expect SCEA to give updates beyond it's being worked on & tested. They are not going to tell us what they are attempting to fix until it is indeed working properly. Otherwise they might be making promises that they ultimately may be unable to keep. As much as we all are eagerly awaiting the patch, I would rather they spend a long time on it so that when it finally does come out it's worth the wait, rather then rush something out that isn't very substantial. I'm not trying to lecture or anything, but I just wanted to add a little perspective as we are all chomping at the bit to see what the patch will fix.
Yes, I just want some sort of target date, but maybe they have no idea. I also understand that many here are unreasonable and if they don't make that target date, those people will have a hissy fit, so that is probably why they don't want to give us a timetable. It's a lose/lose situation for them either way.
