LBzrule and Adembroski, Thanks you guys for getting back to me.

Adembroski,

I am strictly an offline franchise guy. My worries are not game play or presentation. Don't get me wrong I like playing the game and like all that a lot but like you I can live with Head Coach 09 if every thing works in a realistic fashion, functions well, and is fun. Plus, I think Ian and company are on top of presentation and game play this year. Everything I have heard there I have really really liked.

It seems that if you sim far into franchise mode stats and other things have fallen a part in the past. I wish someone could do that. Last year when they simmed a few season and posted the stats (remember the BLOG about that) and every thing pretty good. But I would rather have seen the 10th+ season stats, rosters, salaries of players and caps, and see the FA and trade logic that occurred in that time. That would tell me more about the realism of franchise mode then a few season stats.

Hopefully some time soon we can get the meat and potatoes of franchise mode.

I had some crazy unrealistic stats in Head Coach that I hope don't make it into Madden 10, Like a RB with 150-200 receptions and 1500-2400 yards for 8 straight years. I know stats, salary cap, FA, and roster issues all tie into a pretty complicated set of information. Play calling, trade logic, roster logic, cap logic all ultimately feed into the results of stats, roster, FA and trade moves. If all of those don't work really well then after years of a franchise every thing tends to get messed up. But I have to believe it is possible to create a 30 year franchise mode that stays pretty realistic throughout.

On my PS3 I had a ton of problems with crashing until the final patch and it didn't seem like everyone else was having the same freezing issues (but there did seem like there were quite a few with the same problem). I asked Ian back then if there was anything different from one PS3 to another and from what I recall he said there really wasn't. But if you were having more problems then someone else was with the same build I wonder whether there is some small difference from one machine to another. I

Pretty much sums it up.

so basically people are upset all the information isn't on the table 3 months prior to the release of the game?

Would you have been better? We don't know. Do you come off as a jealous *****? Unfortunately yes.

Nuff Said.
Preach!!!! Church!!! Hallelujah! lol....

I've been waiting for someone to finally say it. The man has been sipping on some haterade. I just wanna say that he's lost every ounce of credibility in my book.

This was a big game breaker to me and a exploit. Say you're in a cover 3 zone a guy sends his wr and TE on a 1 yard curl route and then sends his outside wr on a 10 yard in so the lb will stretch his zone leaving the te or slot wr wide open. Is this fixed?

I think I know why, When watching madden nation I heard he was supposed to be this top sim player but I guess his feelings got hurt because he wasn't picked as one of the sim guys for the community day.
