How do you primarily play madden? Online, Offline franchise, superstar mode, etc.

For offline franchise Mode guys do you sim or play the game?

Is game play, presentation, or franchise mode (accurate stats, draft, etc. not in game related franchise things), more important?

I am just curious as to what type of players and different angles of feedback you guys would give.

By the way, I apologize if the answered are in the 30+ pages or replies.
Me, I was strictly online and game play is the most important thing for me. As far as feed back, I focused mostly on defense/front 7, tackling, pass rush stunts, linebacker behaviors, talked about adding defensive fronts to defend the jumbo offensive formations, talked about other fronts to defend certain offenses, made some notes on man coverage, wanted to see more jostling, pocket, defensive end and OLB pass rush behavior (running the arc is what I emphasized the entire trip). That's half of it anyways.

I think it is comparable to Weeman and his streaks in APF where the WR will come back to the ball on a high pass and jump up and catch it and the defense can't do anything to stop it. Rocket catch in APF is what Weeman perfected.

cool it cha-chi. If Don wanted to be offensive he would've been... he's good at that

Lbzrule.. awesome feedback to hear! Defensive matchups are huge. You'll hear commentators point them out often at the beginning of a game... "Today Champ Bailey has his work cut out for him covering Chad Johnson". In a game where stars stand out more, this becomes fairly essential. I'd be pretty frustrated if it was possible to simply put their #1 WR in the slot instead of on the outside and have that simply hinder me from covering him with my #1 CB.

This is what i want to know all in a list.
1. Do the linemen kick back on passes.(footwork)
2.Will the de play different depending on the qb scrambling ability
3. Will the db's swat through a wr's hands instead of swatting the ball.
4. Will the fb block better and turn his guy away from the running back giving him a lane.
5.Is there more of a push from a good run blocking team.
6.Do db's and lb's turn there hips when changing directions.
7. HB blast a pulling guard is supposed to hit the DT, if the DT is crashing the Guard washes him down if the DT is not crashing the guard pushes him out rb comes through of his back.
8. On a bootleg does Tackle get outside of the DE and wall him off.
9. How many seconds did it take for the Dline to get to the qb. (it should be around 4 seconds)
10. On a goaline play did the Dline change there stance? and what about bear crawling to cause a pullup making it hard for the qb sneaks to work.
11. Is there Defensive holding.

I could go on but I just want to cover simple assignments.

Sim guys can do what they did in this community day and the tourny guys could show them exploits to correct since we do perfect them.

Interesting thought, I'm not sure the tourney guys would want to divulge that info though, do you?

The weak olb always slide to the inside and did not play with any containment. It's been flagged as a serious problem. On the community day feed back screen you will notice, "too easy to get to the outside on run plays." That's me !! But the discussion was on what the OLB's are allowing and also what the MLB's and ILB's are not doing.
Very nice work, I have another question did anybody bring up how the tackles don't hook the DE's on bootlegs? It's always straight up blocking and no footwork. That is what makes an athletic Tackle so valuable there able to hook DE or not let them get around them. I think footwork should play a big part in developing a pocket.
