I know you have been busy, but check your pm's.

I didn't ask anything that would break NDA.

Anyway, back on the pleasant topic at hand.

If things are getting like this over a community day write up, just imagine what's going to happen when the first gameplay video drops in two weeks.

Carnage.

I'm going to sit back and let events unfold in front of my eyes

I'm terrified of that day, lol.

Seriously, though, we're still sending stuff to Ian that we thought of later, and I promise you it's all sim.
Haha, I remember it well. But it bugs me too. When I suggest that the pocket needs to form faster, that the DE's and OLB's need to almost be on the same level as the QB as he is making his drop, run the arc wider, all of which would prevent the things he's talking about, I have to question what is it that he's really after here.

Just realize that the majority of people on this site are thankful for your efforts last week, like a few others have said, we know we are in good hands with you guys representing the community.

I think that if they get the timing down (and timing was a big reason why 2K5's presentation became the gold standard) which I know they're working on, and they get the total package to gel together, then 2K5's presentation will finally face defeat. Albeit 5 years later, lol... but still.

There are enough components I saw to make this happen, it's just all about how they piece it together.

I also think that if they stick with the design concept I seen, then it's REALLY gonna get people's attention. I say they should run with that (Seriously guys... KEEP IT THAT WAY!!!).

I'm very excited about where this can go.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Blog: The Importance of an Early Community Day (New Screenshot Incl

First of all.... I'd like to say that I think the group of guys they picked to go to the community event all represented well, and I like how they mixed it up with guys who specialize in being critical of certain aspects of the game.

I don't know if any of you who went to the community event can answer this, but I have one question no one has asked about yet.

When you guys played, did you have to mess around with the speed differential slider...??? In the customization blog a while ago, I became a little concerned with how this would work since they said it would be a fully customizable 0-100 scale. I was wondering if you have to turn it all the way up to achieve sim speed. I can't imagine anyone wanting to go beyond sim speed differential, so that't why I'm wondering if 100 is where it needs to be for realism.

In earlier Blogs, I thought it looked like the speed differential would be sim at All Pro and All Madden levels, and would be more spread out at the Rookie and Pro levels, giving fast players a bigger advantage at the low levels. I was hoping for this instead of a 0-100 scale. If the default slider is a 50, then are we gonig to be playing at realistic speed differentials when playing online....???
