In Madden, it is just as quick to go back to the huddle and call another play and in the case of 20+ yard gains, it is actually quicker to get in the huddle. They need to fix this problem... saying "You have to stop them" doesn't do anything and frankly makes you sound like a douche.
LOL.

I won't respond directly to your insults because that would do nothing for me personally, plus they weren't rough enough, lol. You've gotta try much harder than that to make me angry .

My advice to you though--and this goes beyond just internet message boards--is that you should really focus on approaching interactions in discussion groups with others in a mature and respectful manner at all times. The opposite is unproductive because it detracts from the chief goal of building in whatever capacity that may involve, and it will make people view you as uninviting. You want to instead be open to discussion, listening, and constantly contributing, even disagreeing, in an inviting position without attacking. This is how--at least ideally--you gain favor within groups and ultimately gain people's respect, which will allow them to be more open to the things you have to say when you express.

As far as this final minutes issue... the reason I've responded the way I have is because I really don't see this as a problem for me, not because I don't understand what he's saying. I thought I'd made that clear, but perhaps not quite clear enough.

The reason is that I've rarely ever given up a TD in this instance, so for me it's not a real problem. That's my opinion based on my experience with the game (which actually dates back to the late 1980's) and I'm entitled to it. If I'd experienced the same issues, then I'd have to agree but I haven't. I usually get the stop. If the way it works out in those moments is an an issue for you personally, then I can certainly understand your frustration and it is valid for you, but you have to consider that not everyone has the same experiences, same issues, or views a situation the same way... and that doesn't make them or their view unworthy as a result, it just makes them different.

Be cool

I want to see more features, i mean if you played NFL 2k5. they use the ESPN's licence to the limit, they have reporters, highlight shows and all. I mean madden 09 was almost a perfect football game, but the missing thing is that all those little things. If you really want to see what a perfect footall game looks like, check out NFL 2k5 for yourself, because everytime i play madden and NFL 2k5 back a forth, madden always give me a feeling of a rock solid game.....So please cheeck it out!

julius jones' player character looks nothing like his face
thomas jones is extremely muscular and his character should reflect that
brandon jacobs should be bigger hes huge bigger than the linebackers

and i think users should be able to edit the players hair because last season joseph addai grew dreads and the game didnt update it and say chad ocho cinco decides to go back to the blonde mohawk i think we should be able to add those changes

I dont even know what to say to this.

I mean, I guess everyone has varying opinions, but Ive been playing video game football since 1992 and out of all the games Ive played in my time, Madden 09 would not even rank in the top 10 of football games, and it certainly doesnt come close to NFL 2K5. Im not a 2K5 fanboy by any means, but Ill play that all day over the bland, bug ridden abomination that is Madden 2009.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Blog: Customization

At the end of the day, customization means absolutely zero if the game you're customizing isn't worth playing. Gameplay should be top priority with Madden, and everything else secondary.
