Just darn near impossible to do accurately and impossible are basically the same thing. I've never seen a QB in real life complete a pass while running at top speed; it's can be done rather easily in madden on any difficulty level.
Sprinting, Sprinting at full speed IMO are two different things.

I took it as you ment throwing the ball and sprinting at full speed is impossible, that's why I said that doing that itself is possible but just not accurately.

I don't think that it should be thrown out the game, I think if you choose to do that you should suffer the consequences (meaning most likely it will be picked or knockdown), dont think they should allow you to have a chance to complete it unless your guy is COMPLETELY uncovered and close by.

No, you can't say that about every position, because you aren't controlling a RB, LB or S at all times. Every time you pass the ball you are in control of the QB. A RB may miss a block or run the wrong route and a LB or S may blow a coverage, take a bad angle or be in the wrong gap.

Its too cumbersome and ugly. I prefer simple controls.
That won't work, if I'm playing with my back up QB and there's a rookie corner who's the week link in the secondary due to his lack of awareness, I should be able to at least pick up him. He shouldn't be smarter because my back up is in the game.

I meant throwing ball while holding the sprint button.

This is why I love April 1st

To see this after every other blog made my day. Like someone else mentioned, was there ever a 2.0?

You know if this was a real we would see a mention of it being posted on Ian's twitter.
