I swear if its still the Assassin fighting the Assassin every fight, that would be a game killer to me.

I can't stand "The assassin, punches the assassin, the assassin looks to be taking too much damage from the assassin. The assassin is about ready to go down."

Which assassin? My assassin or the other assassin?

I've always wished they would allow us to cut and paste portions of names that are in the game and loop them all together to create a new name. For example: Using Tyson and Winky, Tyson= SUN + Winky= EE You now have the name: SONNY

I know its probably much harder than it seems to implement in a video game, but man it would pretty much solve the problem of using generic names.

I'm not sure exactly what you disagree with me on...

I just think, if possible, they could make a much better sim of the current sport with the help of promoting companies.

If EA was able to sign a deal with Top Rank or a promotional company we will be right back here arguing about why they only got Top Ranked boxers in the game.
Did you see the links I posted with GBP and Top Rank's stable? Those 2 companies represent most of the popular boxers/champions today.

EA is trying to make a profit. The production of this game cost money.

I'm not buying this either, every other sports game has to pay for a license with some organization and they still seem to make a profit.

I doubt Arum or DLH are arrogant enough to think they can charge more for a license deal than the NFL, NBA, or MLB. And Fight night round 3 sold 4.24 million copies across platforms while NBA 2k8 sold 1.89 million.

I'm not trying to sound like a ***** of this game, I love the series. I'm just frustrated that stupid decisions in boxing are overflowing form sanctioning bodies, judges, and promoters to even video games

Damn I was hoping Haye would be in this. I'm pretty disappointed with this omission.

I was thinking about starting a thread to EA telling what names the commentators should record so they can say them when that fighter is created. Should I do it and do you think EA will listen?

It's a good idea in the sense of audio names for created players in Madden or NCAA Football, but they are not going to create a "Kelly Pavlik" audio name which would violate the fighter's likeness rights. But sure, I think it's a great idea to have 1000 or so names of this type on file as long as they have no similarity to the names of top fighters.

There's really no need to be disappointed with the # of boxers in heavyweight. If you did the math, you should have expected this anyway, you know what I mean? Lets say there are five weight divisions, its already been stated that there will be over 40 fighters(that means it'll be 41 to 45 fighters.

5 divisions with that # of fighters gives you around 8 or 9 per class, ya know. I'm hoping they bring back created fighters actually showing up during your career.
