Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

I'll just do the O-line now.

Andre Gurode

Schutt helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, blue gloves with the finger holes (I believe they are called rb gloves in the game), large thigh pads, white cleats.

Cory Procter

Riddell helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, black oline gloves, large thigh pads, colored cleats.

Leonard Davis and Marc Colombo

Davis: Riddell helmet, full cage facemask, tucked sleeves, very very large shoulder pads, regular taped wrists, solid black gloves, rubber padded eblows, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Colombo: Riddell helmet, full cage facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, solid black gloves, heavily taped wrists overlapping onto gloves, rubber padded elbows, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Montrae Holland and Flozell Adams

Holland: Schutt helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, solid black gloves, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Adams: Schutt helmet, full cage facemask, tucked sleeves, very very large shoulder pads, regular taped wrists, black oline gloves, large thigh pads, white cleats. Also notice how much taller Flozell is than the rest of the linemen.

Kyle Kosier

Schutt helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, black and white gloves, rubber padded elbows, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Doug Free #68

Riddell helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, regular taped wrists, black oline gloves, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Pat McQuistan

Riddell helmet, full cage 2 facemask, tucked sleeves, heavy taped wrists, black oline gloves, large thigh pads, white cleats.

Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

This is based off of the Final Roster update for Madden 09... Everything will be referred to as it is in Madden. I will only be posting things that NEED to be changed, if it is already correct than I won't mention it.

In 2010 will the Raider's team color be black for home and white for away? Most of the Raider players wear their equipment that way. TC will refer to this. With the addition of secondary colors that is what Silver should be. So when editing a player I hope to be able to Choose Black, White, TC (Black for Home Games, White for Away) or Silver (Secondary TC).

**Underlined Players are IMO the ones that need to be addressed the most.**

Oakland Raiders Equipment Errors

QB JaMarcus Russell: Helmet Type: Standard, Face Mask: 3 Bar RB, Arm Sleeves: Full Sleeve TC (for Cold/Rainy games only), Right Elbow: Shooter's Sleeve (hopefully this will be added, Im referring to the same type of sleeve Allen Iverson wears in the NBA, except his is shorter and more just on the elbow. If this isn't added a TC rubber pad may work..) Left and Right Wrists: Wristband TC.
Other notes: Captain Patch and Hand Towel. He also wears Jordan's (cleats) but I dont expect them to be in the game

RB Justin Fargas: Helmet Type:Standard, Left and Right Elbows: Med. Band TC.

RB Darren McFadden: Helmet Type: Standard, Face Mask: 3 Bar RB, Thigh Pads: Large, Knee Pads: Small. Other Notes: I saw someone pointed out that he has "Sleeves: Sleeveless" and I wouldn't go that far, his are somewhere in the middle, longer than Sleeveless and shorter than Standard. A lot of the players on this team are that way.

RB Michael Bush: Looks good.

FB Oren O'neil: Looks good, but hopefully Dreadlocks and the Issue where the Revolution face masks are too far from the player's face will be fixed.

FB Luke Lawton: Helmet Type: Standard 2, Face Mask: 3 Bar RB, Left Elbow: Thin Band TC, Right Elbow: Padding Black. Other Notes: Hand Towel.

WR Javon Walker: Left and Right Hand: Solid Black. (Just Realized I left off gloves on everyone above Javon. I'll prolly wait until we hear more about accessories before I go back and try to match gloves that may not even be in the game)

WR Johnnie Lee Higgins: Helmet Type: Standard 2, Face Mask: 2 Bar. Other Notes: Remove Thin White Bands from his elbows.

WR Chaz Schilens: Helmet Type: Standard, Face Mask: 2 Bar. Other Notes: Not consistent with what he wears, most recently Eye Black and Hand Towel.

WR Arman Shields: Helmet Type: Standard, Face Mask: 2 Bar Single. Other Notes: His number is Currently #14.

TE Zach Miller: Left and Right Elbow: Med. Band Black. Other Notes: Remove: Arm Sleeves: Full Sleeve White, and Left and Right Wrist: Taped Wrists Normal.

TE Tony Stewart: Face Mask: 3 Bar RB.

Im stopping here, If Mr. Young wants me to continue I'll post the rest tomorrow.

Players that were Skipped (I may come back to some of these Later):
Andrew Walter
Louis Rankin
Justin Griffith (no longer with the Team)
Ron Curry (no longer with the Team)
Ashley Lelie (Status with the Team's future is uncertain)
Drew Carter (Status with the Team's future is uncertain)
Todd Watkins
DJ Hall (Status with the Team's future is uncertain)
Darrell Strong (not in the game to my knowledge)

I'll go back and Edit Pics in if needed, I was just focusing on Equipment in that post, and planned to address body type errors in another post.

So M.Y. if adding the Pictures in helps you let me know, and I'll get on that tomorrow.

I just hope Troy Polamalu has hair that actually looks like his hair flowing from the back of his helmet.

I noticed your remark on the sleeveless thing on Mcfadden, I pointed this out in my first post, it seems all the runningbacks and some recievers have not quite the sleeveless option in the game but more so a tapered sleeve. The sleeveless option in the game is best suited for offensive and deffensive linemen.

Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

I saw this thread after I PM'ed you but I'll add it here too.

My first guy to address is Robert Gallery. He is a great athlete, and in the game he is not represented well in my opinion, he is much too fat and not slim enough. His legs also seem much too fat in Madden.

Also Im not sure if this is your department, but please note how close the Revolution facemask is to his face in the first picture, while in the game it comes out too much and looks like a bubble around his head. If you could somehow fix that I'd greatly appreciate it.

The other guy that may need a look is Tommy Kelly. When I play with him he looks way too big, but then when I sat down and looked at the pictures of this past season he was a bit bigger. Maybe it was either him moving to DT or the fact that he started the season out of shape from his knee injury, but he was definitely bigger in 2008. I anticipate him being more similar to his previous form with a full offseason conditioning program. Here are some pictures, and I'll let you decide and do what you do best. In the game right now he looks like the first picture.

Thanks a lot Mr. Young
