The one thing i would really like to see in the new game would be improved Junior college recruiting. Keep the normal top 100 players and the prospect database for the high school players, and add a Junior college top 50-100, 50 would be just fine. And make the JUCO players that are 5 and 4 stars ratings atleast 5 points higher than the High school 4 and 5 star players. Im not saying make ever juco 4 and 5 star better than the HS players but most of them should be. I dont like to recruit JUCO players in the current game because most of them will never see the field for my teams, i will only go after them if they are in the top 20 players in the nation. I think it would make the game alot better being able to get an instant impact player out of the JUCO ranks.

You also can't over do it I agree with chris
They really need to put an emphasis on in-state recruiting, recruiting hot bed areas, areas you generally do well in, national recruiting, and bring back the map as main recruiting screen with hot beds, pipelines (specific areas i.e. corner of neighboring state) highlighted. sorry for the typing on ps3 lol

This was a great article.
I would love to see all this happen and I was thinking about how the "generation" player, the one who's dad and maybe grandpa, or even great grandpa went to that school should have an effect on where that kid goes to school to play. And there be the players like this years Je'Ron Stokes (Michigan) and his brother (Malik) who is a junior, it would like the same school thing, but that have Malik was a QB his brother was WR, and Malik favorite target was probably his brother, that's years of throwing the ball back and fourth to each other.

And the athlete thing is a joke, you find lineman on there that play receiver.
Lastly with the new coaching thing for 10, its not like NFL where you coach, your a coach and recruiter, so add more stuff for recruiting.

-Give some academic numbers to the recruits. Teams like Notre Dame, Northwestern and so on, have high academic standards that the staff needs to adhere to. There are relaxed standards for athletes, but not all top prospects have the academic pedigree to make the cut at those institutions.

-Fluctuating recruit ratings. Scout and Rivals come out with revised rankings throughout the year. The best example I can give is Cierre Wood (ND signee). If I'm correct, he was the top-rated RB according to Rivals, and garnered a 5-star rating. Now he's a 4-star and has fallen to the bottom half of the Rivals top 100. Another example is Greg Reid (FSU signee). He was a Florida verbal way back in the spring of 2008 and I believe he was a lower 4-star in the first Rivals rankings. He shot up to a 5-star after his performance in the Under-Armor AA game where he had 3-int's. I would like to see the stock of some players rise or fall.
Im with u on this one ...these are great ideas...have EA add the Rivals type function where ranking rise nd fall week by week. Also add week by week stats and the Army All-American game or the Under Armor Game with users can play with the prospects to get a feel of wat those prospects can bring to their team

All recruits put on the Sorting Hat (yes, the one from Harry Potter)

Problem solved.

All jokes aside, these were wonderful ideas along with many in the comments as well.

there are too many 5 stars, there's like 50 in each class, should be like 20. Plus the cpu teams in dynasty mode need to recruit more realistically, for example someone like USC, Alabama, or Ohio State, should be top 10 every year, i rarely see them in the top 10
It needs to be tougher to get out of state recruits, especially when they're from states like louisiana or alabama. Places like Florida and California out of state schools seem to get.
Somehow, you need to be able to land more recruits, the top classes usually have around 25-27 commits in each class.
