This will never happen. EA cannot use NCAA players by name or likeness in any way.

So they can't make scrambling QB's scramble more, and make pocket passers not scramble? How is this violating anything?

And I can almost guarantee that the 'PA' won't affect AI in any way. That'd make the game realistic, and EA wants to stay away from that. It wouldn't be "fun" for the casual gamer that wants to win by blowouts every game. FORGET the fact that they could make the difficulty levels mean more, and work around that. But alas, that would be WAY too intelligent to do.

Thats not true they have the same jersey number, hgt., wgt. home state! not 2 mention they already do it with speed backs and power backs balanced QB and stuff like that player dna would just take it a step further. Scrambling QB will actually scramble alot more often. They already label the player problem is they dont behave on field how the player are rated on paper and that takes the fun out of it. If i play Ohio St. I want Terrelle Pryor 2 run better than he throws and more often. We might never see it but there are no break any rules

I do agree about PA the impression i got from reading the thread was it will effect the AI in a sense that player can not make plays with out "eye contact with the ball" So no more linebackers running full speed with his back 2 the QB and the out of nowhere jumping 30ft in the air pulling an 180 and a making pick(or bat downs) so if thats the only problem PA fixes i can live with it!

He said Player DNA. That is a live updating feature to rosters, not player tendencies. Of course they can and should make player's play to their tendencies, but it will always be the job of custom roster editors to make each player in college sports games play like themselves.

Why would EA want to do these things? Because that's the way the masses want it. So it's silly to think EA will ever decide to not give the masses what they want.
Normally I don't post on the NCAA board, but I just had to respond to your post mOOd. I couldn't agree more with what you've said. Excellent post!

I don't usually defend EA...but I think your right. Their just giving people what most of us want...to win. You choose Temple as your dynasty team, and as you mentioned within 2-3 seasons your invited to the Big East. Two seasons later your National Champions, and everything is right with the world.

It's kind of hard to admit but...how many of us would be pleased if after 10 years of franchise play, you suffered through 10 losing seasons as many teams IRL do? Even for us "Sim heads", we want realism...but only to a certain point.

That's where game difficulty levels should come into play! Pure authentic sim would be the highest difficulty. With arcadish gameplay being the lowest.

As it stands now (at least for NCAA), the lowest difficulty the CPU is mind numbingly dumb, and on Heisman the user players move slower and the CPU cheats to perform better. Horrible programming.
