My Angels seem to be pretty fairly rated, although i do think the Red Sox are too high on Defense and Pitching

Not to mention no Dunn in LF. Dickerson or Hairston should help the improvement as well.

Aside from the fact that ratings are subjective, as I recall too fellas, the team ratings are based on the player ratings. Meaning that a team with high priced talent and more proven veterans (like the Yankees and Red Sox, for example) would make an obvious appearance near the top. There are a lot of teams with "what if" type prospects who should be good, but there is no data to back it yet.

Also, if they are going on a 3 year sample for player ratings, it means some guys who were beasts last year might not be represented in that same light now, causing ratings to dip and effecting team overalls. Remember, a great year last year, doesn't mean a great year this year (say hello to your Colorado Rockies...lol). that's why they go farther back with their samples.

I wouldn't really worry. I've yet to play a sports game where the top 5-10 teams are guaranteed anything. Plus, I'm sure for those patient enough, Knight's roster will have you covered for general consensus type gripes.

Anyone who thinks the Red Sox don't have the best pitching staff is completely wrong. They really do have the best. Beckett, Lester, Matsuzaka, Smoltz, Penny are the starters. In the bullpen they have Wakefield, Delcarmen, Ramon Ramirez, Masterson, Okajima, Saito, and Papelbon. In the minors they have Buchholz, Bowden, Zink, and Tazawa. The Yankees do have pretty good pitching, but I actually don't think they should be 2nd haha. Sabathia is pretty good, and so is Wang. But.. uh Burnett.. no. He is NOT good hahahah everyone thinks he's great. Pettite is even better than him. Does anyone realize that Burnett's ERA was over 4 in 2008? Matsuzaka, the Boston 3rd starter was 2.90. Yeah Yankee fans, don't get all excited about Burnett. Pettite is okay. Chamberlain is pretty good, but the Yankees are ******** for wanting him to start. In the bullpen they have no one besides Rivera. NO ONE. Edwar Ramirez? Brian Bruney? Marte? yeah ok none of them are good. They should have Hughes be the 5 starter and Chamberlain set up man. But still, the Yankees have 3 guys that are capable of being aces (Chamberlain the 3rd), and the Red Sox have 6! the 5 starters I named and Buchholz. and they have an INSANE bullpen. So people shouldn't complain about the Yankees being behind the Red Sox in pitching, when they shouldn't even be in the top 5. The hitting and defense I do understand and I think they did that nicely.

Another thing haha, I hope the Yankees do get Manny because he will just corrupt the clubhouse even more than it will be already, and it will be funnier to watch them lose with a total all-star team. Money can't buy chemistry. Teixeira can't handle that kind of pressure, to play in New York infront of all of those jerks. They probably will get Manny too, because Swisher straight up sucks. He is terrible hahaha. So yeah, I'm a Red Sox fan clearly, but I do give the Yankees credit on some things, but not pitching at all.
