I played 09 demo game first in 720p then 1080p to see if there was much difference.

First thing I noticed was how much more crisp 1080p was. The led numbers on the phillies RF wall were readable. The ice cream shop in left center was legible too. These words were not legible to me in 720p. The crowd and everything was just definitely sharper.

Now as far as gameplay goes I didn't notice any drop in framerate until swining the bat. I had myself believing that I was late more often on swinging the bat in 1080 mode but I'm not sure. It might be in my head. There wasn't any choppiness in the graphics or animations from what I could tell. Everything seemed smooth but the lateness on pitches when usually I'm early had me thinking that 1080 might be the cause of this. Still say its in my head.

Might cause lag in online play and if thats the case it would be back to crappy 720p. LOL.

the graphics are def better in 1080p

on my tv they looks amazing...720p looks nice but thats it

there is a few instances where the framerate drops below 60 on 1080p

it seems it happens mostly when throwing to the first baseman...as soon as the ball gets there notice the small frame drop and other little instances but nothing to make it hard on the eyes...

if you just play it on 1080p you will stop noticing it and be happy.

amazing attention to detail! What can I say? As a disabled baseball fan, I can say that these people had truly created " the field of dreams". They have built it , so I will come!

Everyone who knows about tv's should know that pioneer is the best. The problem is that not everyone can cough up $5000-$6000 for a tv and it's also a plasma which will kill your electric bill. The samsung he's mentioning is one of the best lcd's right now. Check cnet.com or even pcmag.com. That samsung is the truth. I would love a pioneer but the price is crazy.
