I'm sure it will be worked out before 3/3!
Oh play it anothet time and when ur field leave the ball right down the middle let them hit it in the gap etc.

or go to the games site you will be able to see that instead of the routes being straight across the loop around and put the meaning "get around on the ball" to use

First win on Legend mode (4th try) w/phillies -
TB 3 6 0
PHI 4 5 0

3-Run jack by Utley in bottom of 3 to go up 3-2. Pena returns the favor in top of 4th to tie it 3-3. Feliz leads off botom 4 and sends everyone home with the walk-off.

First time I actually followed what the catcher gave me, I gave up 3 runs but struck out 6. Something nice that I saw: Hit a taylor-made DP ball to Iwamura, but he booted it. He did keep after it and get the guy going to first though. Every game I play feels like anything can happen, I love it.

im always going to be playing

LEGEND
NO GUESS PITCH,STRIKE ZONE, API
I just think w/o having those CHEATS its more realistic game (maybe i might change API)

Right now im just throwing th ball right down the middle with hamels and seeing whee they hit it so i can practice on fielding and so far im tied 1 to 1 in the 3rd.

I love the quicker swings and new fielding routes

Yeah that didn't do jack on mine. I don't have input lag at all, it's just that little hitch in the demo. I'm pretty much done with the demo anyway because I'm sick of playing 4 innings over and over with the same teams and no options. So next time I play it will be the full game.

The stance of the player is not a function of his strike zone in this game, it is determined by height only.

Not trying to single you out because you share the same opinion as many people, but why do you think guess pitch is unrealistic.

I played baseball through college and always would "guess pitch and location" in certain situations.

For example, on the first pitch, or with a 2-0 count, I would generally look for a fastball (or certain pitch) I could drive.

You can still guess a pitch and location without using the "guess Pitch Feature". You just don't get that added bonus. But if you look for something and it comes, you should be able to time it pretty well.

I agree, and I tried it for half a season last year and still haven't decided which I like better (which was kind of why I was asking).

I guess my overlying question is: If I were a batter in the batting box, and I were looking for a fastball up in the zone and I got it, would I have a better chance of making better contact than if I wasn't looking for it?

My personal opinion is that I would, but I am curious to hear thoughts of the players that are against it.
