I am on the computer so much with work and these forums, that I just had the PS3 hooked up here, and could just switch over.

But that TV and seeing the Blu-Ray movies in 120Hz, I was impressed. So tempted!!!

Samsung HLP4663 is my main HDTV that the PS3 is connected to. It's a number of years old (3-4?).

When I get a chance, I'm going to try it on my 37" Samsung LCD in the bedroom just to see if I get the same thing. I remember asking about the 1 inch black bars last year and another member with the same TV (aholbert) had the same issues. I know it's not my TV as it's been professionally calibrated, but I think it might be something with the model and how the PS3 "handshakes" with it. I'm just curious as to why it's this way...it's not a big deal though because I can stretch the image (it doesn't distort anything...just fills up the screen).

Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here

I lost another game on legend 5-1, but the best part was my double-flood. 3 doubles on 4 hits, all doubles wouldn't have happened in 08. 2 for Feliz were grounders along the 3B-line, they didn't reach the wall, but still easy doubles. Ibanez hit one right on the scoreboard in RF...and I finally scored a run without the need of a longball. sac-fly got the job done.

Hamels with an E and the 2 runs scored after that were unearned, they fixed that unearned/ER problem.

The crowds are indeed amazing... they even get up and walk around. It's stuff like that which makes me go "wow".
