Anyways I've given up downloading/playing tonight. I got so irritated with the speed I canceled it. I restarted it a while ago and I'm about 1 hour in and am at 48%....I'll play it tomorrow....
Damn that sucks. I saw you posted fast download speeds earlier as well. I always download things pretty quick. I'm a bit surprised the game downloaded in 20 minutes for me considering the ammount of people trying to download this demo no lie.

How is Ibanez's stance? A pic or vid? He was a former mariner so getting his stance right was a hope for me this year, lol. last year his was a bit ridiculous. sorry guys..

Im from seattle if you can't tell. Keep the vids coming! My ps3 is down for the count right now so all I have to go by is the pics/vids, and they look amazing. Thanks scea, seriously. Looks like a great game.

The frame rate issue is definitely there for some people. It must depend on your set up. For me it is very obvious that it is happening. I have no reason to make it up.

I don't see it as an issue though. My retail copy won't do it, I know that for sure.

The Samsung 650 apprently has issues with games but my 550 is fine.

The samsung 650 is a much better tv and the input lag issue affects the ps3 mostly

on 360 if you set your console to 1080p which is the tv's native resolution then you can plug your 360 to hdmi 2 only and rename it PC...that removes all input lag

but if you set the 360 to 720p then the pc mode is neglected and you go back to standard settings which bring back input lag

it was hard as heck to hit my spots on mlb 08 the show and on shooters it was hard to use cross hairs...

but by having the 360 be 1080p on all games it allows pc mode to take affect on hdmi 2 once you rename it and there are no issues

the ps3 does not have many games that can upscale to 1080p therefore playing them on 720p provides input lag

that is why you must play on game mode or in the case for the show 08 and 09 put it at 1080p and rename the slot hdmi 2 to pc mode and you wont see any input lag

Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here

It a very good game. Not to much has changed as i wowuld of like it to be.

The graphics are a upgrade form last year. The graphics in the replay and cut scenes of the player models look fantastic. They remind of a MLB 2k game but just more realistic. The lighting is a nice touch. The pitching meter has some differnt graphic which is something almost new. The crowd is good. I had a 3-2 pitch runner on second, crowd was going controller was vibrating , it felt exciting. The annoucing is as good as always. Still the best baseball your going to find this year.

The dirt wears well, but no so much of the chalk. The bases don't get dirty? The have the same fielding camera which after 2 years is very boring. Why no cutsecene right after the fielder makes the play with no runners on? The controls for fielding is still the same and does the meter even work?

Well, this game get my $60 this year.
