MLB 09 The Show Demo Out Tomorrow

If it's like the rest of or most of the PSN demos, it should be out around 6:00-7:00PM EST

Hey everybody,

Two questions for you if you wouldn't mind helping a newbie to PS 3 out:
1) Last night I set up my account for the PS Store and downloaded NCAA Basketball to test how long it would take. It took like 3 hours. To me that's ridiculously long BUT how long does it take ya'll to download demo's? The file was only 1228 MB and I have a cable modem so I think it is time for a call into the cable company, ha ha. But what do ya'll think with your own experiences?

2)Have we found out a definite time of the release time for The Show demo today?

3 hours, lol. You should have the Show demo completely downloaded just around release time!

That is way too long, are you wireless or wired?

Ha ha ha that is too funny. I thought it was odd. It was a wired connection. I never have had a problem with the Internet on my desktop computer (Downloading songs). It usually flies but last night it was crawling for that download. I figure for a 1228 MB file it should only take seconds. Right?

1) I would say that if your wireless is slow, see if you can get your hands on a long ethernet cable and plug it directly into your PS3. This might speed up the process. I have a 100Ft ethernet cable just in case I have problems with my wireless

2) Ive been hearing around these forums that they will release the Demo at around 12pm PST which equates to 3PM EST. For me it doesnt matter. I dont get home from work until around 7pm EST so I hope it is out by then.

Pastapadre has it reported as 3 PM PST so approx 6 PM EST

Oh ok. Perfect. Call me a dork, but last night before I went to bed I made sure my controllers were fully charged today. Crazyness just for a demo. I love it
