As Ian stated in just another thread, they will start discussing features around draft time. They will make weekly announcements regarding technical issues until then.

Both Ian and Phil stated this before the announcement. If you want to hear about features only, you'll need to wait till April.

Look like they finally got some ballers. looking at the people praise here about this new team ,looks like madden 10 might be good but im not giving alot of praise until i see it. Heopfeully i see some foot planting in this game like NFL 2k5 had. And please get rid of the madden IQ and the rewind feature and fix the gameplay and yall will do just fine.

Agreed, the Madden IQ is such Bull. Why should the game get harder if my team has a better offensive line and running back than the Def. Why should it get easier if my O-line and RB suck and the defense is great. Their needs to be emphasis on how teams play overall not just how a person does. Of course the Lions aren't gonna have a great day offensively against the Ravens.

This announcemnet has a chance to re-shape alot of what we dont like about Madden in terms of AI. Sure its not this bright, glamorous announcement like hand towels, but i think this could end up making the CPU play to their ratings and play more realistically

I liked the announcement it looks like the sort of thing true fans of the NFL are looking for an CB play has been an issue in all football games for a long time now so the idea of players tracking the ball properly is quite a good one. Obviously, the value of this sort of technology is only there if it is correctly implemented.

The most positive thing about this is the fact that it shows you guys actually care about the fans and value input so from that point of view it is a highly positive move. I think EA must recognize the flaws in the last few editions of Madden and I think it is a highly positive thing that people are making an active effort to rectify the problems.

Give it up, Madden will never be as good as 2K5 and this is coming from a madden lover. fix the gameplay!!!
