I'll be really looking forward to that blog.

That one should get about 1,000,000 views.

Personally I think this feature is gonna be great. what I really hare is what I saw in the video as well as the WR's doning the same thing. With the head tracking deal, its gonna add a level of realism that I havent seen anywhere yet on a football game. Heres the scenario, just like in last nights superbowl...your the cards and your on the 8...you throw a fad lob to the corner and let fitz go get it. The thing I like the most is the CB had his back towards the ball the whole time so he couldnt even see what was coming until too late. Then fitz leaps iver him and catches it for the 6. That was awesome. I think the ehad tracking deal needs to be on the LB level as well when tracking runs, play actions, and other plays. Have the awareness rating tie into it. I like the idea of making the user go through progressions though. Getr rid of the cone, have the qb turn towards the play and make the proper reads with the tracking is phenominal. No more running to the right and throwing it all the way to the left with no sort of accuracy penalty or arm strength penalty for that matter. Hope any ideas here help.

One more wuick idea is is to have more defelctions come into play. Lineman batting passes in the air and LB's, DB's deflecting it or even WR, TE's deflecting it through thier hands or where the spinning catch use to be have the WR try to nab a one hander or something like that with the potential for a batted up pass. Also passes where the qb throws one just as he gets hit and its off the mark...there needs to be an animation for that as well. The watcher posted wuite a few pics of all the animations that need to be in.

It would be nice if pass interference would occasionally get called on a DB who doesn't turn his head to look at the ball while interfering with a receiver's ability to catch the pass.

...would no longer be able to happen, ya know?

I think the question at hand is as follows: In Madden 10, will that play look the exact same except with the difference that the CB's head will be turned? I know it must sound like you just explained it, but I guess what he's asking is will the players play the same with their heads moving or will their entire style change based on their eyes?

If you guys are able to implement it the way you describe it, it could be a subtle, albeit huge addition, not only in terms of atmosphere, but game play.

Didn't read through every page of the thread, so sorry if this has been mentioned. Ian, will the DB's still be able to react to a pass play if they are clearly not looking at the ball, but they looked at the WR raise his arms up for the catch so the DB sticks his arms up as well, usually inbetween the WR arms to disrupt the play and at the same time maybe he turns his head to try to look at the ball?
