Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producers Answer Community Questions

If we're assuming they can't keep the ref out of the way, no, I wouldn't want it. But why wouldn't they be able to keep him out of the way?

Depending on the fight, a boxing ref can be more involved than refs from other sports. A "crafty" boxer like Hopkins, the ref is constantly breaking clinches, giving warnings, ect.

Or a heavy weight fight, late rounds, those guys start hugging a lot. A ref becomes an essential part of the fight.

Depending on the fight, refs in boxing can be the most involved of any sport. I want them in for that reason.

Give the producers a break this go round, they are working off a new engine. Now, if they do a Madden not have the chain gain for how many years now?!? The developers/producers quality or quantity, not say there isn't going to be alot to be excited about.

Dude. He's in the game. You just can't see him. I get no satisfaction whatsoever of visually seeing the ref, unless im trying to get up from the mat. As long as there are breaks, warnings, stoppages, etc. im fine. And FN round 4 will have that. Sheesh.

Will each fighter still fight exactly the same as the other or will they actually have unique tendencies and styles?

Each boxer has his own individual style....you can see that in the Fight Night Round 4 leaked footage. Tyson fought like Tyson and Ali fought like Ali.

Exactly. 2K was able to do it so I don't understand why EA can't. That's disappointing.

2K's Prizefighter was garbage too. It's poor graphics and gameplay is the reason why a referee was there.
