It's an honest mistake.

Also, if you look at pictures right now they are white. There's a reason they are white and showing pictures of CF with white walls proves nothing really. Such as below:

lol...actually they said on a Mets site they would be adding things like the Met's colors and banners at the last minute. They were also thinking about going with the blue padding due to general fan feedback after some stadium tours.

Showing a picture of an unfinished stadium doesn't really prove anything

My money is on the walls at CitiField being blue. That is what the site says and the concept artwork shows. They may change it, but I would be surprised.

As far as the screenshots, I thought they looked really good. I don't know what last year's looked like compared to the finished product since I wasn't following the game. I have only had 08 for a week or so but the screenshot of Wright looks like it has better shadowing on the player model.

Issues with things like the textures on outfield shrubbery really only stand out in screenshots. That type of thing won't be noticed when the game is being played. That is why developers save resources by making those textures less detailed.
