Conversely, if your performance takes a dip, you’ll see slight decreases in contact for each batter that performs below that statistical ability. Performances will be based roughly on each batter’s last 20-30 ABs (w/ recent ABs weighted heavier).

No worries. My post was more of a general statement to all those newbies that are bellyaching about the screenshots who have obviously never played the game, rather than a direct comment to you. It happens every year, and I just think people who get so heated and hateful over a handful of screenshots are ridiculous. Everyone who has played The Show in the past and are a fan of the series know that this game can't be beat, whether the bushes have rich textures or not. If a person chooses not to buy it because of their bias in the neverending 360 vs. PS3 debate, then that's their loss. My life will still move forward, and The Show will still be an amazing baseball simulation.

As far as the oversized ping pong ball.. the ball looked "very white" in the game.. almost like an oversized ping pong ball... but I realize ping pong balls come in different colors, so imagine a white oversized ping pong ball.
