Haha, not on 360 they don't...no SCEA product to compete with! Welcome to our nightmare!

Re: MLB Front Office Manager: Worth Keeping an Eye On

I think the screenshots actually look promising, and I am excited for this, but I think there's a better than 50% chance I'll be disappointed, like I was with Head Coach in 2006.

Here's my thinking on why it could be good though: Pretty much everything I hated about MLB 2k7/8 was related to gameplay. I thought the game looked terriffic (2k7 especially), and I thought the menus and most of the feature sets were just fine. It was just a disaster to try and hit a batted ball, and the fielding was a joke.

So, even though I realize this is a separate project, if any of those positives can be brought in for the presentation, I might really enjoy this, especially with the discounted price. And I'm actually VERY pleased about the option to play shorter games, because I would very quickly get bored with a full-length game where I'm not actually controlling the action.

I have much higher hopes for this product than 2k9, sadly.

Do they plan on letting you play any of the games through Mlb 2k9.Now that would be cool.

That would also be a dream...lol

Dreams are fun though. Once I dreamed I was being chased by an Ex who had come to take my heart and soul. I woke up sweating and realized I had a hole where my heart should be! Turns out that was also a dream, as then I really woke up and had to pee. So I did

Anyway, I doubt they'd be interchangeable in any major way...at least not on the first go. Just my two pennies though.

The GM side is always the part that interests me the most, part of the reason for my love on College Hoops 2K8 and NCAA 2K9 Football. Not so much the play, as anyone with quick reflexes can play decently. This game is the type that I've been craving for, and I'm afraid my $40 is already spent on picking it up.

At least this is coming out for PC. Maybe people will be able to mod it a bunch and keep rosters updated regularly or something. I know NFL Head Coach for PC (06 version) was modded and sliders were added, which saved the game. I have moderate hopes for the game but I think it could be fun.

is it only going to be $40? can anybody help confirm that?

if so, that may have sealed my purchase.
