Guys listen up. I saw a couple posts with the best info besides the patch. The Help D slider is backwards for, sure put it on 0. You will see cpu guys run over to help quickly, if you post up on one side you will see defenders paying much more attention to the ballhandler.

Also another poster in the slider section said to to switch the cpu team playbook to all at the team select screen and I will tell you the stars for opposing team will be used. They post garnet, run ray around screens, post and look for paul p. This game is the shizz now.

No problem. Hope everyone else finds a way to enjoy it, but for me, I'm done.

Maybe I'll be back with 2k in '10, but given how I have detested the last 2 years, and there is nothing to indicate any type of change in direction, I'm not hopeful. I used to love playing this series.

For Fastbreaks I use
Shot Clock Usage % (0-10 seconds)

(shotclock - fastbreak)
0 - 10sec
45 =100 tempo
= 44 = 97 tempo
= 43 = 94 tempo
= 42 = 91 tempo
= 41 = 88 tempo
= 40 = 85 tempo
= 39 = 82 tempo
= 38 = 79 tempo
= 37 = 76 tempo
= 35 = 70 tempo
= 33 = 64 tempo
= 32 = 61 tempo
= 30 = 55 tempo
= 28 = 49 tempo

http://www.82games.com/0809/0809WAS3.HTM - So the Wizards are 36%; so they would be a 73

-Physicality on the perimeter has been toned way down

-Physicality on the inside has been bumped up

-Close shots tones down a bit

-Going out of bounds has been made a bit easier

-Post has been neutered

-Dunks in traffic have been toned down

-The computer does indeed take more mid range shots

-On-ball defense has been toned down

-Cpu seems to have better timing on blocking shots

.......more later

Dude, it's just like with anything. Different things mean different things to different people.

To the person who gets hissed off when his favorite NFL/NBA team loses, I can't just say "chill out, man, it's just sports"

Everyone has their stuff they really like, videogames are something lots of people have puts lots of time into over the years.

Re: NBA 2K9 Patch Released For 360/PS3, Impressions Here

Like I said I am not done editing all teams but here are some simmed stats using the (PPG - 35 = Tempo Formula)

Lakers - 107
Nuggets - 102
Cavs - 102

Clips - 92
Bobcats - 93
Grizz - 94

Overall they look good. Some teams are out of place (DET 101 PPG.) I have to figure out why.

I thought this was the IMPRESSIONS thread.

I want to read what has or hasn't been fixed, not how to edit offline stuff.

Re: NBA 2K9 Patch Released For 360/PS3, Impressions Here

I just played a game online (Custom Ranked, Superstar difficulty, I was home) and the kid playing my Pistons was the Celtics and Garnett shot 15 - 19 from the paint. Every play down the court the guy took Rondo, did a jab step with the L2 then dished a pass to Garnett, who immediately would do a turn around layup over two defenders to go in. I had pressure at 0 and help at 100, I was playing off with SGs, PGs, running multiple zones on one possession, playing crazy confusing defense. But if he EVER got the ball to Garnett, it was over. I ended up losing by 20 even though I beat him in 2 of the 4 quarters because I'd just miss shots he had no trouble making. Very frsutrating, but I guess you can call that basketball?
