Back on track... I've noticed more deflections and a REAL fastbreak during the game I'm playing right now.

Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me, but I'm seeing defensive stopping bigs like Ben Wallace or Marcus Camby get steals and blocks that I've never noticed before. Seeing Camby just stuff people instead of the swats and tipped blocks that you usually see.

Unfortunately, it's still way too easy to score inside and mid air passes are way too accurate. I'm watching my brother play and he's doing a jump shot to get the defender in the air, and then passing out of the shot through 3 people to Ilgauskas for an easy lay in. Ridiculous.

Spacing?

Help D? Are guards finally leaving their men to help out?

No real improvements here.

However, I think they have improved the game enough to be able to enjoy season mode.

I cant imagine that any offline player like myself could be displeased with this patch....cant really speak for online. IT truly makes the game alot more authentic. I love what im getting PIP wise.

Thing is. I got this working pre patch for my revision edit of TOMBA 2K9. Now because of the patch I have to literally retest another two weeks of this to get it to where i have it now based of all the feedback i got from you guys. scoring %'s were fine pre patch with the revision as well. Now? Heck I just ain't got the time again to make it work all over again...

i seriously thought 2k wouldn't be messing with fixing the hard coding of the ratings system which they did...completely nagates anything i did. nogster did etc...

OIC...ouch. That's dissapointing.

I don't understand why this can't be fixed. There's an entire range of "HELP D" sliders...even in their manual, it says if you raise DEFENSIVE AWARENESS it will (quote) "used for help defense when the player picks up the ballhandler to help out a teammate".

I mean, there's a whole section of the engine / sliders to do with help D...

It just doesn't work?

You see what happened is this. i fixed the game based off of feedback. THEN 2k fixes two areas of all the gameplay areas that needed fixing and i'm left now having to redo everything trying to keep the INTEGRITY of their little fixes..

BS and NOT BehindShadows either.
