I am going to have an absolute blast with this game. And my boys from '80 & '86? Oh hell yeah. Never nervous Pervis baby, is back on the hardwood and he is going to lead the '86 Cards to another Championship, only this time its going to be against some of the best teams around.

Damn, I can't wait.

This is going to be a giant flop if the classic teams' rosters are not accurate. On the demo the only player they got right for '79 Michigan State is Magic. There was no Greg Kelser, no Terry Donnelly, no Jay Vincent. I'm not that familiar with the '82 UNC team, but it looked like the only people they had correct were Jordan and Worthy.

Seriously, what's the point of hyping the classic teams and a "Tournament of Legends" if the rosters are all jacked up?

The classic teams are going to need a monumental amount of work. I'm going to need 2K8 running simultaneously to get NCAA09's classic teams right.

Very disappointed to see that my 1996 UNC (Stackhouse, Wallace, Donald Williams) and 98 UNC (Jamison, Vince Carter, Shammond Williams) did not make it...both were Final 4 teams that were completley dominant, and had enough future pros (2 superstars on each team) to justify inclusion...

also would have liked to have seen those Kansas teams with PAul Pierce, Raef LAfrentz, Billy Thomas Kenny Gregory etc...that team (I am not sure exactly what year...97 I think...was prolly the best team on CH 2K7, for what its worth

Yeah, they kinda limited themselves with this "64 Classic Tournament" thing. EA removed a ton of other classic teams, unless they are still in the game and just not in the classic tournament, I guess that's what we can hope for at this point.

Fish, we may have to run a few games against each other online pitting the '80 & '86 teams against each other.
