As long as you are connected to the internet, it should prompt you right away as soon as you turn the game on. You can check the game save utility where you can see if the patch was downloaded (1.20 should be there I think). If you went online at any time with your game I would only assume you would have the patch.

Ok guys I am sorry but I really don't feel like going back and reading through a ton a pages for this answer, but how is the game post 2nd patch? I got rid of it right before it dropped. I really couldn't stand madden this year but pre patch ncaa was ok. Would it be worth picking up again?

Yes. Some guys feel the game is a lot different post patch. I'm one of those that didn't see a huge difference in the core gameplay. The second patch did two really good things - fix the kick coverage which was particularly awful on punts and fix the sliders so you can fine-tune the game better from default which was a huge thing for me. The other fixes to defensive coverage I found to be marginal although some felt them to be significant.

Either way, if you liked the game pre-patch, you will only like it more post-patch.

The whole thing with not being able to keep players from leaving early in Online Dynasties was not fixed though right? I am Commissioner of an OD and one of my players complained when I simmed right by that step. I told him it was broken and he said it was fixed in the second patch.

Hey guys, just wanted to get some impressions or thoughts on any players that you guys may have noticed that have incorrect skin colors. We have already began correcting certain player skin tones that were incorrect last year. I will double check if anyone posts any info regarding skin tones to verify the posts are correct. I work at EA and will be helping out with rosters this year. No info/opinions will be used for player ratings etc, just incorrect skin tones only please. Thank you guys.

Just picked it up again, didn't get to play it with patch 2 before. My only question is. Why is this game so much better than Madden??

Because madden is fairly boring to me. It's a good game but it looses it's lust really soon. NCAA has more lasting appeal.
