Well, I can't stop playing it and it's a d*** demo. LOL!!

A couple of minor quibbles:

1) I think there is WAY too many blocks. I noticed this in all the videos previous of the demo dropping. But, easy slider fix.

2) Seriously, is there any way to stop Bynum and (especially) Gasol? They hit EVERY mid-range and out jumper and score down low most of the time over a highly-contested post defender, even KG. But, again, a few tweaks in their ratings would fix this as well.

Only a couple of minor things, but the game is AWESOME!!!

I LOVE you can actually run a real break this year (even hit a couple of trailers for dunks) which make me think more realistically (ie: get the ball to the middle of the court and space). The floor spacing is SO MUCH better and I like that we HAVE TO actually use some strategy this year and take advantage of mismatches.

Can't wait to get the real thing.

just had rondo in a double team and he intentionally jumpep up and threw it off one of my players legs and it went out of bounds, did not see that in 2k8, this game is so fluid. it may go down as a classic in sports gaming

farmer beat me with a quick crossover, pulled up for a wide open three and air balled it lol. I have never seen a wide open player air ball a shot.

Now a buddy of mine advised me to check out live 09 this year and to b honest when he said it I didn't want to i didn't care. I was enjoying 2k and didn't want to look at n e thing else. But I decided to give it a try and it was an eye opener. Now I think these games will appeal to a specific individual it all depends on what u like doing when u play a game.

Now breaking down the 2. Everyone always says that 2K is the more "REALISTIC" series and I would have to question that this year. Now in b ball video games I am apart of the elite when it comes to gameplay. I can take any superstar Kobe, Lebron, T Mac, KG u name em and drop 50 plus points on u cuz i can score whenever I want to. With that being said I find that I dunk A LOT more in 2K9 than I do in live 09. The isomotion added some cool moves this year that to me makes breaking down defenders very simple and when I get past him. I go up and attemp to dunk on any one in the key. I find that 2K doesn't challenge any one attacking the basket the cpu A.I just stands there and allow themselves to get dunked on.

I will stop 4 now so ppl can comment on weather or not im incorrect with that comment. Will continue later.
I agree. It's definitely really easy to get by defenders. I think the defense in Live is lacking a lil, also, along with everything else. 2K is probaly only a couple of tweaks, or diffculty level away from perfect, though, IMO. Live does have easier controls, but, 2K has more control. For example, giving the user control to use the backboard, and make altering shots, is amazing! Overall-moves, sig style, animations, presentation, graphics, sound, emotion-no contest. Live seems like the Arcade experience. 2K9 feels like a real simulation experience. Perhaps the best sports game I've ever played. A big difference from Season and Playoffs (wishful thinking), and a real-time championship celebration?!!! Can't wait!

Is it just me or does it feel like you dont have much control over your players? It seems like they will just start doing moves with out me telling them to, like when bringing the ball up court. It just doesnt feel responsive, like in 2ks past. Whenever i move left or right, the player does some weird move instead of just going left or right.
