Dude its been there for like 2 years it called background downloads. Enable it and u can turn off ur system and it will finish ur downloads. You still hear the system on, but it will be in a low powermangement mode and there will be a yellow light that blinks every 30 secs to let you know your still downloading. The system will shutoff completely when its done.

Yeah, the Wii has a similar thing.

Red = completely off
Green = on
Yellow = off, but available to receive updates/DL's

Yeah the feature is called background downloads.

You can turn off your 360 and as long as it stays connected to the internet it will continue downloading it.

You'll know its finished downloading when the power button stops flashing.

Its a pretty cool feature for those that don't like leaving their 360 on all night. Or if you're trying to download something and you know you aren't going to be playing your 360 for a while.

Some new things I noticed while playing the demo today:

I was playing as the Lakers, and started the game with a 9-0 run. At their next possesion, Rondo brings up the ball, and calls a timeout AFTER he crosses the half court. This is the first time I've seen this logic in a Live game, as usually they just call timeouts right away after you score. (If this was in prior next-gen Live titles, my bad, haven't played them).

After the timeout, I play great defense and eventually end the quarter leading 12-0.

Funny thing during the quarter timeout - Marv was saying how impressed he was that the Lakers, on a road game and at the end of a back-to-back, came out very aggressive. He even mentioned that usually teams would just want the game to be over with so they can go home.

At the start of the 2nd quarter, with me leading 12-0 and shooting over 50%, the Celtics come out in a zone defense. Nice! I missed the shot and they scored on the other end, then they went back to man. I dunno how long they would've kept the zone if I still scored and they didn't.

Sweet. So the CPU will play zone against you? Sorry, haven't played too much current gen Live. It would have been nice if they stayed in it a bit longer. Hopefully these games start really focusing on the zone defenses. Alot of teams use it, even if it is just for stretches of time during a given game.

Yup. The last Live that I played before this was 05, and the cpu played zone there too at some points during the game. They even did it right after you call a timeout to sort of throw you off.
