This might be off the topic a little but I am watching Madden Nation on ESPN2 and it looks to me that there is field degradation on this episode Im watching. I wonder if they had the patch when they were playing? Also whats up with all the white dudes with the dirty straps and bling....wow...sad.

Has the CPU running game improved at all, as far as overall yards, and yards per attempt.

Is their any freezing at any point during the game. (Franchise, or Single game?)

Thanks
Yes sir they do. It annoys me though when the CPU has no chance in hell to make a comeback and they still call timeouts to stop the clock. I just noticed after beating the Packers with the Bears the robo QB is not there anymore. Much easier to pick and deflect passes. I think it takes too long for the CPU to snap the ball, that's just my opinion.

I just played the 'Phins and Pennington at the half(5 minute quarters) was 1 for 13. Also the fact that penalties now force the offense into long situations opens up the deep passing game. And the fact that the cpu doesn't run out of bounds like a 10 pound waterhead, is a great addition.

So no the game hasn't been overhauled or anything along those lines, but the game doesn't play "exactly" the same. Its better. By how much, well thats for each individual to decide.

I played the first game post-patch and I had a great game! I was the Bengals going up against the Browns and Anderson threw 22-33 for over 240 yards, 1 TD and an INT. I think this patch alone fixed the Robo QB; thus, allowing me to align my defense to counter their offense. I won the game 24-16, using 10 minute quarters.

Oh, and Chad Johnson caught 4 passes for 111 yards and 2 TDs

madden needs a lot of help ...listen up ...

1. man to man coverage does not work , i used any top cornerback and my friend used a very low rated receiver and he was catching every ball thrown to him as if my cornerback wasnt even there. This was on All Pro.

Then we said lets try it on ALL MADDEN level....It got better but then that raised another issue....too many INTS !!

-- solution ...make the top corners very good , i dont mean they should intercept every pass but at least they should be able to deflect a lot of passes so teams dont go on their side on all pro and all madden...

2. Zone coverage on all madden is too unreal. Players are scared to throw a ball in a loose zone knowing that zone will close up real quick with defenders all over, but the part i hate the most is the INTERCEPTIONS are way too high for online play since we cant touch the sliders online .

solution-- lower the ints and stop with the extra defenders flying from everywhere as soon a ball is thrown .

One thing I did see about them extending the time it takes the AI to snap the ball is they might have forgot about one thing. 30 seconds to go and the AI runs a no a huddle after a 20 yard completion. Gets in the shotgun... lets about 7 seconds go of and finally calls a time out while audibling. 2nd play, 10 yard completion and the AI again goes into no huddle letting about 10 seconds go off before spiking the ball.
