Madden 09 Quick Patch #2 Update From EA

one must remember though, my mother works in IT, and is a database manager. And they do mainframe backups on the weekends and mondays. While IT opens at 8 AM, every monday, one of the database people has to go in at 2 AM to do the backups, as they have to pull the network down to do it. And, well.....it only makes sense to do it when no one is there to be on the network (or if there is some odd person...who's nuts for being there, they don't care if they boot them)

so, it's not at all unlikely that they would have a network team that would be working the off and odd hours for maintanence, and or updates, and software pushes.

While I am doughtfull it will be up, not that I care as I have to be at work at 6am anywho, I would be happy if it were up by the time I got home tomorrow night.

Is anybody else sitting here wondering why in the world multi-billion dollar companies don't have anybody working on the weekends??

Have you adjusted your Rush D sliders? I have and the CPU can run a good game. Pass D sliders gets rid of "robo QB" as well.

I have my rush D set at all ''0.'' If you have a set of sliders that has the CPU running, then send them my way, because I'm desperate. I'm using the so called ''dummy'' sliders, and I even went as far as putting the CPU rushing on 100/100 vs. my 0/0/0 - and I still can't get them to run.

I just got the roster update 4# but wasnt asked to update anything...so wheres the patch?

The servers being down don't have anything to do with the release of the patch. EA releases the rosters, Microsoft releases the patch. EA controls their servers. Microsoft doesn't.
