Re: Create A Player 2k9 Vid

Did anyone notice if they had shorter calf sleeves instead of the ones that seem to go past the sock? I couldn't really tell.

Pretty sure they still haven't added them, same old sleeves, not the ones that people actually wear.

thanks steve for doing this.

LOL.... where do some of you people get off. I made an observation, something that wouldn't take much effort at all by 2K to implement (and they have at one point only to take it back out the following year) but would go along way in helping the CAP mode become better. My logic tells me that on something this small (to implement) why should I have to over look it EVERY YEAR? You then go on to speak about me not noticing "the other great stuff" about the mode, saying I should "show some appreciation" when "the eyes of others are looking on"... I dont give a rats *** about who is looking on nor trying to come up with something positive on any giving feature just to appease the masses/you. I call it like I see it and will continue to make my positive AND not so positive comments as I see necessary. Personally the contracts are cool but I really didn't mind about the way it was done before because I liked for that person to speak for himself once in my association mode based off his own performance and wants. I dont really feel that this CAP mode is a step in the right direction, I think it just improved on what was already there last year and even though it could be worse, Im not going to praise it because of that. I seen the variety in the players of the Choops games and was hoping that with both teams now working together, that they could come up with the best of both worlds but thats not the case. Understand that just because you feel the need to say something positive everytime doesn't mean that we all do... I show my appreciation to this game/series by buying it every year regardless of how the previews go... I dont feel the need to do anything more than that. I voice my OPINION often so that they (2K) better understand what the people want and even though I dont have the highest post count or is cool with the regulars here, I do care about the quality of this series and want it to be its best... so forgive me for not taking a JMood approach to this series by over looking and making excuses but please dont condemn me for trying to HELP make this series better the only way I can.

Re: NBA 2K9: Create a Player Video

It looks awesome. The only thing I wish is there were more headband choices and the weight thing. I remember on NBA Live on reg. xbox a few years ago they had like 50 different headbands and you could pick all different colors and you could do the same thing w/ the striped socks. And I wish they would do the body type like what Madden used to have on reg. xbox a few years ago. You could adjust bicep size, calf size, chest, gut, waist, thigh, "rear".
And this has nothing to do with anything really but I remember back in the day on one of the NBA games you could make a guy 7'10". Then the next year it was down to 7'8". Now I think all the games are down to 7'6". When I made a 7'10" guy I could stand down in the paint guarding the other center and get a legit block off a guy shooting a 3 pointer.
But i'll get over it. I still play 2k8 and 2k9 looks tons better so I'll be playing this game almost exclusively year round. But I will still dream of the day I can make a roided out 24" pythoned 7'10" 415lb 99 rated center bearing my name on the back of the jersey.

You must not have watched the video, because when he scrolled through the height I saw 7'11 in it. I was hoping for this so I can create Manute Bol and some other seven footers.
