All kidding aside, I think that, for the most part, we have been pretty patient with regards to this patch. I've been peeking here over the past 2 weeks but not posting and this thread hasn't ballooned until about 2 days ago. I think us natives are getting restless. Its like cabin fever, some of us have kept madden in the box and we're just dying to get 'goin! MLB 08 and NCAA 09 has kept me sane thus far, but my s*** is about to go bananas!!

If EA said that the game was going to be online only, I would have refused to pay full price for it. The patch is not a service to us. Its giving us what we have already paid for. Ive been patient (and will continue to be) but this is getting a little rediculous. I understand that the patch is in the hands of MS and Sony, so its not EA holding things up, but in all fairness, the game should never have shipped this way. Besides, what about the people who have bought the game, but have no access to the patch? I feel for those people because they will never be able to fully use the product they purchased.

I really hope we (at least) get some info today, Im ready to get my franchise going.
