Prove me wrong Ian.
If MS does in fact say NO to the free DLC, it would be a great move on Sony's part to allow it to try to help bring gamers over to the ps3.

Let me help you brotha, because your original wording is a bit 'combative', even if unintentional.

That's the kind of stuff mods are trying to eliminate.

You CAN voice your opinion, even if its not glowing about EA. However, you have to keep it civil just as you would in a business setting. It's not that hard.

Here's what you could have said:

"When I first heard about DLC I thought it was a great idea. At the same time, I was was a little skeptical. I was hoping it wasn't just a hyped feature that would never be made available.

So, when I didn't see mention of it in Ian's post I got a little nervous. Ian, do you feel we are still on track to get the DLC?"

Same thought, different wording. Hope this helps you in the future.

We are fortunate that both SCEA and EA people post here, answer questions here, and take suggestions here. I, for one, want to keep these guys here. They will answer the tough questions as long as we act professional.

A couple of questions. Is it neccesary to start your franchise over after the patch is released to avoid the freezing problem? I read in a release (I believe by Ian) that u wouldn't have to. And what about the lack of player progression for edited players? Do u have to start over for that? Or do u just lose that period of time before u had the patch? I'm willing to wait to avoid these horrible prolems. Just wanted to know. Oh well back to NCAA 09. HOOK EM' HORNS!!!

Any word on if they found out something about the lag and slowdown using the colts during games for the ps3?

I'm also wondering if I could start a Lions Chise right now and once the patch drops I can download it, but don't have to restart my Chise. Will the patch be effective on existing franchises? If not, then I'll just continue playing my NCAA 09 'Nasty. Thanks anyways for the update Ian.

Is the franchise freezing ocurring in Year 2 and beyond or is it in Year 1 as well?

And according to Ian, if we just play one game at a time and save the file, we should be safe before the patch drops?

What about the player progsession? I'm very concerned about both of those issues.
