That's all I'm saying. There is a time for teasers, but the preorder window is not it. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what the effect of a teaser is supposed to be at this point.

And specifically, what is my complaint about the lack of info? I pointed out the stark contrast between them and EA, and then them and the rest of the game industry. That's all.

I may sound like an indecisive idiot, but I find myself relating to both sides of the spectrum. On one hand, I know that not much is coming before the release of NHL 2k9, but on the other hand, I was expecting some kind of information since they did announce that they would be coming forth with some, then delayed it (along with the teaser, if I'm not mistaking). I don't think this affects most of us, since we ARE buying the game for sure unless something catastrophic happens (and even then). But for all the yearly whining and criticizing of how NBA 2k is marketed, I still think that some of it is merited, no matter the size of the company.

Is it an overreaction? We all know the answer to that. Is to be expected every year that people go nuts? Yes, and it's funny as hell. But I still understand certain part of the gamers feeling left out, and I'm not talking about the ones who go beserk no matter what. It is a selfish stance, but then again, that's the nature of most dedicated gamers I guess.

Its not. When I used to go to the 2k game previews, I saw the same 2 people for 3 straight years no matter what the game was. One internal person and 1 PR rep. 2k Sports (not Take Two) has a ridiculously small internal marketing group and they use an small outside pr firm.
