I had read about that solution in the sliders thread. My problem with that is that it requires you to have two controllers and I only have one. I don't want to spend $50 to buy a second controller to be used just as a work around for a broken/unfinished game. If I had two controllers that would definitely be a really good home solution though.

Does EA have a different process that they are held to than the other game companies because you always see other companies going gold about two weeks before the street release date.

Amazon has Wired ones for 21 bucks. You really have 3 choices: Get a cheap wired one and do the workaround, sell the game and get what you can for it now or just let it collect dust and continue to be frustrated. Options 1 and 2 seem like better options imo.

I could live with this myself. Just supersim every other time you are on D, you will stop them and get a sack/int/fumble enough times. If they get the crashing issues fixed and everything else they have mentioned I will be happy.

But I can understand wanting what you want fixed

Can you explain this workaround? I haven't read it.

Those games dont have a mandatory street date. They can push other games back if there is their is a problem during the certification process. EA cant do that with Madden.

Go to the sliders forum and look for the "Dummy Profile" thread.
