Question Re: Two Weeks of Madden 09, and Official Patch News!

I have not read through every reply. So I don't know if this has been addressed. If we have already started a franchise, will we have to re-start it in order for the patch to work?

Re: Two Weeks of Madden 09, and Official Patch News!

Guys,

Enough of the "WOW!! LOOK AT ALL THAT'S WRONG WITH THIS GAME1!11!!" posts. Enough of the "What do you mean, take away from working on Madden 2010" posts. Enough of the "But...but....MY FRANCHISE IS SCREWED!!" posts.

They get it, ok? They are aware of all of that. And your constant pissing and moaning in this thread does nothing to remedy the situation. So just stop it.

Use the thread to discuss the patch, what it will fix, what it won't, that's fine. But enough of the complaining. It's trolling, which is not allowed by our forum rules, and each offending post will be dealt with accordingly.

This patch info is great, however, I would also like to know about fatigue and sub in/out sliders.

Re: Two Weeks of Madden 09, and Official Patch News!

Thanks for the great news IAN!!!

The game would be complete for me if these 2 things were added to the game:

Game speed slider or slow the game down a tad - I really liked the speed of the demo ("In just 1 play" DVD) I didn't see the over the top dive tackles (from the "lowlights" part of the tackle animation thread) nearly as much with the speed slowed down.

In-game saves - To play a full game, I have to play late.(usually after the wife and kids are asleep)

Re: Two Weeks of Madden 09, and Official Patch News!

My main concern is the CPU blocking. Have you guys even looked into this as to why blockers do random crazy blocks that make no sense what so ever? Why would a blocker avoid an on coming defender to run across the opposite field to make a tackle? People are complaining about the run game but it has nothing to do with sliders. I honestly think sliders cannot fix this and it seems to be an issue with the blocking overall. I've tested this on all settings and the CPU is stupid at blocking. Am I the only one who sees this? I will try my best to show you with a video but it really screws the game up. I'd rather have Robo QB and a fixed blocking system.
