I think after I played the first PS2 version of Live it scared me off for the entire generation.

LOL trust me, give Live 05 a shot just for nostalgic purposes.. it was very good... that game was the basketball animation king... don't know what happened when they went next gen

That was the one with Melo on it right? It was nice... nex gen was claimed to be starting from scratch. I have no clue what happened, but anyhow im still looking forward to actually seeing 2k9

Yea Live 05 was vicious. The only thing I hate was the amount of blocked jumpshots in that game

I think '05 was the year I took off from Hoops games, because I was underwhelmed with NBA 2K5, and I think I probably played Live 05 and it didn't do it for me either.
