[quote=Bucksfan7;2038593130]Very excited for this season, and really confident. We have a heck of a team coming back next season. Hopefully we can win the NC and quiet some of the naysayers, and hopefully IF we win it all its against an SEC team.

Bucksfan be careful what you wish for it just may come true. Ohio State matches up well with the slow 10 but don't fare so well in their SEC matchups. See LSU and UF blowout games as recent examples.

Waiting on this patch to fix this turd of a game sucks.

I wont get into it, cause this is NCAA 09 board. But our team is much faster than we get credit for. And us OSU fans are tired of hearing about SEC speed. We have a bunch of kids on our roster that are from Florida and we will only add more. UF we didnt show up at ALL. And LSU we beat ourselves into the ground with stupid penalties, at the wrong times when it looked like we were getting back into it. Oh well good luck to the Dawgs this season.

Thanks. The Dawgs season took a pretty big hit during scrimmage today; we lost Trinton Sturdivant (starting LT) for the season with a knee injury.

3 weeks to kickoff - EA may have released a patch by then.

I like the optimism, but I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't.

It's still unknown as to the extent of his injury, but it certainly does not sound good

Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch #1 Available

Well, here's my take on this whole Patch thing.

Since before the game was released, we've been told about the patch that would fix the roster-naming bug (which, let's be honest, should be an embarrassment to the production team). In a couple of hours I'll be picking up Madden, yet the Patch still isn't available for PS3 owners.

Yeah, yeah. I know. It's in Sony's hands and there's nothing you can do and blah blah blah. I really don't want to hear it.

It's not the fact I need the patch. Hell, I've been playing NCAA non-stop since its release and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love the game, even with it's mind-numbing flaws. I guess it's the fact that we need such a patch, coupled with the fact that PS3 owners STILL don't have it, that's bewildering.

Question has anybody ever got a 5 yard face mask call or is it always 15 yards.
