NHL 09 Preview (Gamespy)

Gamespy has posted their preview of NHL 09.

The Be A Pro actually sounds pretty cool. I don't play Madden or Fifa, so it will be all new for me. Sounds kind of like when you Sim a period or two and then jump in. I know I'm going to get creamed online, the skill stick isn't my best friend..........

The whole bit on how sitting on the bench for Be A Pro mode is new news to me. I'll probably try out the sit on the bench but fast forward option. Just like being on a real team, you can't always do everything. Sometimes you're stuck helplessly watching on the bench.
