The actual headline should be "EA focused once again on visuals. And atmosphere?" considering the game looks great but is really lacking in atmosphere still.

I think that Madden 2009 is making an even bigger visual jump than NCAA 2009, but there is a clear difference between NCAA 2009 and 2008 for sure. Maybe it is not as big of a jump as many of us would like (or feel somehow entitled to), but it IS improved.

Didn't NCAA 08 have progression in lighting? I swear late afternoon games went dark over time so the 1st quarter was orangy-dusk looking and by the fourth quarter it was dark with lights. I remember being upset that Madden 08 didn't have this feature. Now it's gone in NCaa 09 and didn't make it to Madden either? On the same platform/generation system? Is this accurate?
