Yeah your right I forgot. I was very upset now that I look back that I couldn't turn it off like in the 2k series.

Yep, I was too. I still like the way this game is shaping. One thing they need to fix is puck physics. And the way you can hit the puck out of the air like in 2k. That's needs to be address this year.

Agreed

And I agree about the puck shadow. I think hockey games look better without the puck shadow.

Those graphics are amazing. I don't see how anyone can complain about them. In some instances they can easily be mistaken for a real picture.

That's what I was thinking while I was reading the critical comments about the graphics and shaking my head in bewilderment.

I'm not saying they're bad, but there's something about hockey games that don't really make me feel like they're as realistic looking as some of the other games. Look at MLB 2K7 or NBA 2K7 for instance.

Maybe I don't see hockey enough or something. They always seem like they are subpar to the rest of the sports games in my mind (though the models are fantastic).

I agree, but you can say that with any game. Even the "Show." I like what I see. I just want better puck physics. Plus it would be cool to bat a puck in the air. This game should be sick. I hope they fix the face off animation. Also, it looks like the ice sprays more this year. In some of the pics it looks like it sprays even when a stick hits the ice. If it has stick on stick, watch out this game will be real close to real. I still hope 2k steps it up this year too. One thing that this game has on 2k's is the skating engine. Man that skating is FREAKING SWEET.
