IGN has posted another Madden NFL 09 blog called We Didn't Forget.

New Superstar Features
Superstar has always struck me as a mode with a lot of potential that’s never been fully realized, so we finally felt that it was time to show it some love.

Earn Your Spot
With the addition of Super Sim, it’s opened the door to certain other features that wouldn’t have been possible before. One of these additions is the new Earn Your Spot feature. Most of the time, NFL rookies aren’t thrown into the starting spot from day one, they need to work their way into the 1st string…that’s the basis behind Earn Your Spot. Participate in practices to earn points which can be used to improve your Superstar’s skills and overtake the players ahead of you on the depth chart. We’ve also added a new Position Battles screen to show who’s in your way and how far you have to go to get past them.

Is this only for the xbox n ps2 or is this universal on all systems ????
