Seems to me that those who are really happy are PS3 owners who had to suffer 30FPS last year.

To be perfectly honest, up until I played the demo I was more excited about NCAA 09 than Madden 09. But now I am looking forward to Madden.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here

Just played 2 games PS3 version. I was so pumped for this game I started to think my expectations were to high. WRONG....I love it.

IMO its leaps and bounds better than 08. The players have weight to them, you can feel the momentum. Graphics are sick. Best looking player models to date.

Some positives

1. Animations, they look great.

2. Overall feel of the game is more last-gen, IE weight and momentum.

3. Nice playbooks.

4. Just feels like football.

Negative.

1. Saw a few weird animations.

2. Could have better presentation.

The game overall just feels good. Everything looks and acts right. The crowd is even much improved. I am no super pumped for July 15th. But damn Just think what Madden will be.

I agree, I wish they'd re-think that and/or make it more subtle.

That would work for one year, then the next year it'd be back to the same situation.

We all need to hope it's just the difficulty level, because the demo is just awful, turnover wise. This demo equals out to one full quarter on many peoples franchises, and I'm getting 2 to 3 picks per demo game, which is 2 to 3 CPU turnovers per quarter. I'm not even happy with 3 CPU picks per game, but per quarter? No Thanks.

I'm not as confident in this turnover ''fix'' as most people here. This is a 100% game killer for me, and I'm going out to buy the game as soon as it's released - I'm a bit concerned, to say the least. The guy in the Madden section completely avoided any questions about the turnover ''fix,'' so I'm not sold on Madden either.

I wish more people would address the issue, though.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here

After two game LSU has thrown 6 interceptions (4 as CPU and 2 while I played) OSU didn't throw any. However OSU had two fumbles (one was right after an interception and the other was a QB getting sacked) while LSU had 0. Turnovers are beginning to scare me. This whole post-TD celebration thing is going to be a disaster if the player is allowed to walk through people like he can in the demo. And I agree with whoever said that the game seems slow. Maybe I just really really suck but I had no big running plays b/c i couldn't outrun anyone. I also saw a few phantom tackles which scares me. All in all I'm disappointed but I'm not shocked at all. Last year I wasn't expecting it but this year I'm ready.

If you'd been on OS reading what the producers would have to say then you'd know the reasons behind this and not be ranting about this.
